When the World Sleeps, I Choose to Wake Up

When the world sleeps

A new day.
A new morning.
Monday.

I used to hate Mondays.
For a long time, they stood for obligation.
The first day of a week I had to survive.

Back then, I woke up because life demanded it from me.

Today, I wake up because I choose to.

That is the difference.

Earlier than before

I rise much earlier now.
Two.
Three.
Sometimes even four hours earlier than in the past.

Does it always feel good?

No.
Not always.

But the difference is simple —
I am no longer driven by pressure from the outside.
I am guided by a decision within.

Not the world expects me to rise.
I expect it from myself.

Discipline is not punishment

Many people ask me:
“Aren’t you tired when you wake up so early?”

No — I am not tired.

Because I changed something else first.

I let go of late nights.
Of television.
Of distractions that quietly steal life.

I choose rest with intention.
Five, six, sometimes seven hours — deeply.
Enough.

Discipline is not punishment.
It is alignment.

Energy comes from meaning

Since I began living this way, something shifted.

My work flows better.
My focus is clearer.
My energy is stronger.

Not because I sleep more.
But because I live more truthfully.

When a man walks in the direction of his calling,
his strength multiplies.

Not physically.
Spiritually.

Becoming my best version

I do not wake up early to prove something.

I wake up to grow.

To become my best version —
mentally, physically, and spiritually.

To honor the dreams placed in my heart.
To take responsibility for the life entrusted to me.

Not perfectly.
But honestly.

Grace over everything

I know one thing for certain.

Hard work matters.
Discipline matters.
Love matters.

But above all — grace.

I am grateful for the gift of awareness.
For understanding.
For love.

Amen.
